I hereby confirm that I am over 18 years of age, the information I have provided is to the best of my knowledge true and accurate and I hereby authorise the agent to: 1. carry out credit searches and reference checks, to contact employers, banks, referees, guarantors, and credit reference agencies as appropriate. If appropriate and / or required, your information may be shared with a 3rd party. 2. use the information obtained with third parties to assess credit ratings, make insurance decisions for fraud prevention and tracing / debt collection. 3. Handle all information obtained in strictest confidence and in accordance with the principles of Data Protection Act 1988 and compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). I acknowledge that my application may be refused if the landlord is unable to obtain satisfactory references. I accept that due to the confidential nature of this application, I may not be permitted access to the references or be given any explanation should my references/application prove unsatisfactory. If you wish to withdraw your application at any time, you must do so in writing.

Confirmation

Please tick this box to confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, all information you have provided in this application is accurate, complete and truthful. A holding deposit of £250.00 may be requested to demonstrate your commitment to the property and allow the referencing process to begin. The holding deposit may be retained where an applicant provides false or misleading information, deliberately withholds relevant information or withdraws from the application. A referencing fee of £195.00 plus VAT (£234.00) is payable upon your application being accepted. Please note that no referencing will be started until this fee is paid. If your referencing fails due to incomplete, inaccurate or false information provided by you, or if your circumstances change during the application process and this affects your ability or decision to proceed, the holding deposit and referencing fee may be retained in full or in part, where permitted by law, to cover costs incurred. Once successful referencing has been completed, a Lease creation fee is payable in the sum of £395.00 plus VAT (£474.00). Once this fee is paid, the Lease will be created for execution. If referencing is successfully completed and the lease proceeds, the holding deposit will be credited towards your first month’s rent. All fees are non-refundable.
